The aim of Powdermills Pottery is to hand make pots using materials found on or around Dartmoor. The pots are fired in a wood fired kiln.
Nigel Shaw and Carolyn Hillyer live on Dartmoor and are very talented artists and musicians. Both Nigel and Carolyn compose and perform beautiful music and make their own musical instruments that are inspired by the spirit of the land and nature. We have many favourites amongst their collection. They also run workshops and perform all around the world.

Formed in 2005 by Rebecca Beattie and Rebecca Wood, who have a combined total of twenty years experience of brewing. Now they make their own soaps, bath salts and cosmetics. All of the products they sell have been certified following a series of rigorous laboratory tests. Rebecca and Rebecca are inspired by nature, and use herbs, essential oils and fine fragrances combined with natural ingredients to create a range of hand-crafted soaps and bath salts. They make all of their products by hand in their kitchens in small batches using a technique that has changed very little since it was first recorded in the 12th Century. All of their products are created with love, and beautiful and quite extraordinary. I hope you'll agree that they are something quite special to use!!
